1. What Vedic Horā is

Vedic Horā is software that computes Vedic astrological charts and renders classical interpretive rules. It is offered for study, reflection and cultural interest.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Horā for personal and professional study. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or resell its output as your own automated service. A documented developer API is planned for legitimate programmatic use.

3. Accuracy

The astronomical computations are performed with the ephemeris and are tested. The interpretations are renderings of classical rules, and where traditions differ, the convention Horā follows is disclosed in the reading. No warranty is given that any interpretation is correct, complete or applicable to your circumstances.

4. No professional advice

Nothing produced by Horā is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. See the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

5. Availability

Horā is provided as-is and as-available. It may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn.

6. Intellectual property

The classical texts Horā draws on are ancient and in the public domain. The software, the rule digitisation, the wording of the readings and the design are the property of the project. Charts and readings generated for you are yours to use.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the project is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, Horā’s output.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
