Refund & cancellation

This page describes how paid access on Vedic Horā actually works today, in plain terms.

What you are buying

Paid access to Horā ("Plus") is sold as a prepaid pass — 30 days or 365 days of access, paid for once through Razorpay. There is no recurring subscription and no auto-renewal: a pass simply runs for the period you paid for, and buying a further pass while one is already active extends the current expiry rather than starting a new, overlapping charge.

Because there is nothing that renews on its own, there is nothing to "cancel" — you only ever pay again if and when you choose to.

Refunds

A prepaid pass is access to a digital service that begins immediately once payment is confirmed, so as a general rule a pass that has been activated is not refundable for the portion of its period already available to you.

The exception is a payment that failed on our side: if Razorpay confirms a charge but Horā never activates the pass against your account — a signature mismatch, a webhook that never arrived, a duplicate charge from a retried payment — that is our error, not a change of mind, and we will correct it: either by activating the pass you paid for or by reversing the charge, whichever is genuinely appropriate for what went wrong.

We have not yet published a fixed refund window in days for the general case. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us with your payment reference as soon as you notice — see contact — and we will look into it individually rather than leave you with no recourse.

Failed or uncertain payments

If money leaves your account but Horā never shows the pass as active, that is very likely a payment that Razorpay processed but Horā's servers never received confirmation of. This is exactly the situation the exception above covers — contact us with the payment reference and we will reconcile it against Razorpay's own record rather than ask you to simply retry and risk a second charge.

Pay-per-question credits

A single AI question can also be bought as a one-time credit rather than a pass. The same principles apply: the credit is consumed the moment the question is answered, so a consumed credit is not refundable, and a charge that was taken without a credit being granted is treated as the error case above.
