What Horā is

A computation of planetary positions and a faithful rendering of classical Jyotiṣa rules, offered for study and reflection. Where a reading makes a statement, it names the text behind it, so you can go and read that text yourself.

What Horā is not

• Not medical advice. Horā does not diagnose illness and must never be used to decide for or against treatment. Consult a qualified doctor.
• Not mental-health support. If you are in distress, please contact a mental-health professional or a crisis helpline.
• Not financial advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, invest or transact.
• Not legal advice.
• Not a prediction of death. Horā presents āyur-yoga as a classical framework and deliberately makes no point prediction about anyone’s lifespan.
• Not the astrologer's advice, either. A live consultation booked through “Consult an astrologer” is the independent professional opinion of the astrologer you spoke with, not a statement by Horā — the same medical/mental-health/financial/legal limits above apply to what they tell you.
• The Guru (AI chat) is a conversational aid, not an oracle. It answers using the same classical rules and your chart data, phrased by a language model; it can misstate a rule or mis-cite a text, and it is not a substitute for a human astrologer or any professional above.

On certainty

Horā shows confidence levels, discloses its conventions, surfaces contradictions between its own engines, and publishes what happened when it tested itself against documented history — including the tests that found nothing. That is offered as intellectual honesty, not as proof. Astrology is a traditional knowledge system; treat its output as material for reflection, and keep your own judgement in charge of your decisions.
